Letter of Recommendation

LilaRuby is a handmade jewelry company founded in 2024 out of a college dorm room. A percentage of each sale goes directly to Heart Camp, an organization working to create meaningful, lasting change for children with heart disease.

As the Marketing Director, I create and oversee all visual and written content. My responsibilities include website development and the devise of monthly social calendars and mood boards. Supervising a team of media interns, I am in charge of producing cohesive brand messaging across all platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Website

Above are select sections of the LilaRuby website that I built and maintain. My goal is to create a platform where users are encouraged to purchase jewelry while also giving them the opportunity to educate themselves on LilaRuby’s mission of helping children with heart disease. Color Collection

In order to create excitement and to increase engagement prior to the drop of LilaRuby’s second collection, “The Color Collection,” I was assigned with producing two Instagram posts to release the week leading up to the drop. I strategically combined my photography, Canva, and Photoshop skills to craft content that was not only bold and eye-catching, but out of the norm- a defining aspect of “The Color Collection.”

Brand Kit

Tasked with creating a brand kit for LilaRuby, I focused on exploring various color palettes and typography combinations to establish a visually cohesive and appealing foundation that reflects the brand’s identity and ensures consistency across all materials.

Content Calendar and Goals

The LilaRuby team collaborates to build a set of goals for the upcoming month; I take these goals and transform them into a realistic, organized framework. On a weekly basis, I filter the content I have curated into a content calendar. Above is an example for the month of February.
